Dancing Alone: Sing-Along nights with Johnny & Lenny

Poems & Prose

Were I to explain the title of this volume, I would have to say that I have lived a life blessed with knowing some noble, wholesome soldiers, and yet, I have somehow always seemed to wind up dancing alone. And often at the times that mattered most. So, it is probably no coincidence at all that no one has as yet ever been able to lead me on the dance floor. Oh, well; we all writers know that angst is a frequent bedfellow at arts’ window. As they say. Though, I’ll say no more on that.

Many a verse, poem, and other writings penned by me, and sometimes from my muses, were oft times somehow inspired by the exquisite lyrical simplicity of those dear musical legends, Johnny Cash and Leonard Cohen. And so it would be terribly remiss of me to leave their names out of this, my very first book of songs. Amen.

Likely to be available in the second half of 2019. But, in the meantime if you’d like a PDF copy (on a purely donation basis) please fee free to make contact.

(Writers are often lonely, and broke-by-design, after all.)
